Hi,
I recently purchased a 08 focus st, loving the car except one annoying thing I noticed. Last week I could smell mould in the boot area, after inspection all under the boot mat was damp! Long enough to have mould all under the mat and the side carpet.
I have since had everything out of the boot and the left side carpet out to dry and this is where I discovered the drops of water. Coming from just under the light cluster. I have a picture below of where it's coming from, the right hand side is dry. I've had the rear light off and put sealant around the grommets to no avail. There's a bit of insulation foam on the inside of the plastic under the light in the boot and it gets soaked full of water. I have been using it to tell if the leak is still coming through after drying it out. After trying that I just don't know where it's coming from, reading around it could be the grommets, welds, rear washer or a number of other things.
Does anyone recommend anything or could point me in the right direction of the leak?
Many thanks
Hi all, I have a 2008 Ford Focus SES that is having some problems starting. The vehicle started to intermittently struggle to start with the problem slowly worsening until the vehicle just will not start currently.
The best I can describe it is a stutter when starting that has slowly gotten...
Recently started noticing that 3rd gear grinds upshifting anywhere over 4500 rpm and the grind gets worse the higher up the rpms are. The car does not grind when downshifting into 3rd regardless of how aggressive of a downshift, just when upshifting. Car is a 2011 with 62k miles. I changed the...
I replaced my passenger side mount with an official Ford part about a year ago, and now it’s shaking again, but only when I have it in drive or reverse. The other two mounts are good. Has anyone seen the Ford mount fail this quickly?
Ok so recently I bought a 2010 SEL in Blue Flame Metallic. I knew I wanted a MK2 Focus for a while. I saw this one pop up for $2500 CAD ($1900 USD). I went to look at her and there was lots of cosmetic damage (scrapes, dents, etc.) it had a loose heat shield I’ve since repaired. There is rocker...

I am not selling them, I have one and just found these waaaaay cheaper than I paid. I...
