What's good Fanatics? I decided to join this community for the sheer fact that when we strive for the better, we drive for the better.
Yesterday I purchased a 2003 Ford Focus SVT ZX5 for, what I thought was fair, 1.3k$. She's at a respectful 225,XXX miles and before the last owner, seems wasn't loved enough. There were quite a few issues with it such as oil pan gasket leak, driver side window motors failure and a few more non-performance issues, LIKE ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE WINDOW Tint! But I digress...
I'm here to learn the ways of the SVT Samurai and bring this little 4 banger back too a prestigious form and function. This ought to be interesting.

Welcome! Change the timing belt first. If it breaks the head will have to come off to replace bent valves. Worst case scenario is a broken piston as well. Motorcraft tensioner only.
