I now realize that this trans is based on a manual 6 speed. Reason for no fluid dipstick. Does this trans have a fill and/or drain plug in it? I can't see going 100K miles or whatever on the original fluid.

Sure, it has a drain plug and a fill plug. It only holds anout 2 quarts of fluid, so if you want to change it early it shouldn't be an expensive proposition.

Yeah they do Bill, and it works the same & uses the same fluid (2 qts of the Ford manual trans synthetic trans fluid) as the manuals do.

Drain bolt & fill plug, level should be near the plug when filled.

Thanks, appreciate it. Is the fluid Manual Trans Fluid, like what would go in a Tremec?

Nope. It's a special DCT fluid.
