I had a locksmith replaced the ignition switch and the wheel is free, but now the car wont start. Help The little security light flashes real fast!

When you replaced the ignition switch, did you get new keys? And are those keys properly coded to the car's PATS?

Locksmith made original key fit in new switch.

check the fuses and see if anyof the ones regarding the system may have popped. i popped one changinga cluster and the car would,t start.

If the locksmith made a new key ... it has to be coded to the vehicle. Do the old keys still work? Or is the teething different now?

He had the original keys recut to match the new ignition.

The original keys recut? So are you using new keys or the old keys?

if the light is flashing real fast its a security issue.your going to have the locksmith put computer on it and reset all the key toa new code.i think ford charges 1 hour to do this
