This summer i dropped my car on coilovers and it's extremely low. As a result, I banged up my pinch welds on both sides. The damage is only a couple inches on either side, but the paint cracked where the pinch weld bent on each side. I want to fix it so that my pinch welds don't rust out over the winter.

I think im going to take the propane torch to the bend and heat it enough to bend it straight, then i was going to hit it with some rust inhibiting stuff. I don't remember what it was called, but it worked really well on my Gremlin. Then i was just going to spray the parts where the paint cracked flat black, or use 3m bedliner.

Do you think this will be a suitable fix? Should i use the paint or the 3m bedliner? If i use the paint, which paint is best?

Thansks for the help!

Elliot, you need to use the Permatex Treatment product that stops and inhibits rust. Then just get some undercoating to spray over it....See you at Murray's. lol
