2250 watt Planet Audio mono amp. Got it powering my 2 12" 600w Audiobahns. Man those hit hard now, everything in my car shakes! Paid 300 for the amp, did I get a good deal?

PA is a decent brand....2250 watts tho, do you have a cap attached or just straight from the battery?.....also are you wired in a mono setting?

It's prob 2250 watts peak. But still that is quite a bit.

that must be a beast of an amp!! still tho a decent output none the less.....im just curious to see with a rating like that im curious to see if its capped or juiced off the battery....or even concider an alt upgrade...but thats just IMO

It would be fine off the battery. A cap would help the length of the battery letting it last longer, and an upgraded alternator wouldn't be needed.

It's a class D Mono, and I'll get pics up soon. BTW I don't have a cap yet but the guy said I should by one soon. So I plan on getting one with my next check unless I really don't need it... Would save me $70

2250s rock! they r 2250 rms 3000 max at 1 ohm. thats a pretty old one but the only thing different is the outer casing. they go for about 750-900 new. they are actually owned by JL audio. i love those amps. my car club has 8 of them running 4 15s in a spl s10

I could be wrong but I doubt it puts out 2250 watts rms. I couldn't find one that did.
