what are these fifth injectors I'm reading about and how do they work? it's supposed to be a cheap alternative to fuel management systems. any links or material is greatly appreciated.

Its just an extra source of fuel that goes directly in the intake track ( like a nitrous nozzle if you have seen that) and it sprays fuel when boost is present or when an engine computer tells it too..it isn't real precise but it works, and it is adjustable

it is cheap...and doesn't do too well of a job...specially when much more fuel than that single injector could provide, check out aerocharger and read up on there SFMS

You are also going to see fuel distribution problems. The intake is designed to flow air not fuel. With this setup you run a much greater chance of leaning out a cylinder
