--------------------- anyone feel the same way? -----------------------hey ff members. just voicing my opinion on exterior mods. ive bought f2 rs nose, and roush skirts. not to happy with fitment of both products. it would be nice if aftermarket companies could get their castings or moldings exact like oem pieces. the stuff ive got i end up having to put some tlc into it inorder to get it right. talking from a diy person. u pay some good money for this stuff and then still have to work them to get it right. it should be plug and play. their not off by much but if u want it too look right u have to make changes. kinda makes u want to stick to stock form. true say the oem look is why we bought these cars but we like to put our own signatures to them. just like my wheels centerline rpms, i had to get the offset ground down to fit under fender well. yes i did 215/45-18 for meat purposes because i dont want to bend rims which im sure many of u with 35 or 40 may have done. coming from a n.y. perspective. but my point is buying pricey stuff and still having to modify a little. of course in the end when job is done (sometimes) we are completely happy with the what weve done especially when u did it urself. one mod that came out great but i guess once again modifying (drilling) had to be done is my wing from spoilers xpress the rs copy. i think even better than the original rs and svt and came painted. just keeping my head up for when my project is done. which when ure an addict it will never be done always having to make a change here or there especially when new stuff comes out.
