1) Have a 2006 ford focus. How do you get to the radiator to blow out dead bug accumulation in the fins?

2) Air cleaner is no where to be seen. How do you get to it to put new element in the air cleaner? Ford says $250 plus labor. Is this science fiction or just a gimic to rape you on something as simple as changing a filter?

Sure would appreciate any tips to save time and money

1 - a garden hose works, there should be some plastic guards on the top and bottom that you can remove to spray it down

2 - For 2 or 3 years (05-07 time frame I think) focus had a "lifetime air filter" that was good for 100K miles or so. Its actually a replacement of the whole filter assembly that is sealed and $250 sounds about right. Some people chose to go with an aftermarket intake like fswerks coolflo or K&N when replacement is due.
