Tonight when i get home, im gonna attempt to wrap my new shorty header and my new hfc. Can any1 give me any tips/ how-tos do this properly? All i know is its easier to use the wrap if u dip it in warm water.

that's it.... and just make sure that it's tight and then when your finished use a high temp silicone spray for a protective coat.....then your done....you can either use hose clamps which are used by alot(should re-tighten after a few trips)or you can use s/s tie straps(these seem to work well too but cost is around $1.00 a strap)....that's all I got...pretty straight forward..GL

it will be enough for the shorty AND HFC. most of us can make a 50ft roll do an SVT header. so you should be good.

HaveBlue83 did somewhat of a how-to on this. check it out in the how-to archive[thumb]

hey i beleive shorty header can be done but a pain like waht badass said. the way i think it should be done is... thread enough from the top peice where you can do it reserver... can you picture it?> instead of wrapping while un-rolling it, you gunna need to cut enought to do 1 pipe at a time, and then insert and wrap.. when you get down to the 4-1 part, leave it loose enough where it can be covered with another round about at the base.

if you can picture this? then i htink it will work, i never done this but i was thinking of it for a long time!

mr bunna has it right cut the wrap in strips enough to do each pipe seperately, as for the bolts pb blaster and a propane torch is what it took for mine, just take your time and all will work out. the wrap itself is a great tool but is much harder on a shorty header... i will look for that how to and post it up.
