Alright so i just got a quote for a magnaflow exhaust system from a local muffler shop for $165 plus the cost of the tip.
Is this a good deal or would i be better off getting one from online...
i.e. magnaflow themselves....
help?

Personally, I would order online. You can get the MF exhausts thru several of the vendors here on this site that are cheaper than dealing with Magnaflow directly. At that price it sounds to me like it would be the Magnalflow muffler w/steel tubing instead of the true SS Magnaflow exhaust system.

that is an incredible deal, a SS tip is usually about $50 so you'd be looking at $215 for an entire exhaust system, good job

i always encourage people to look around locally before spending 3x as much money getting a pre-made system

btw my borla system was $250 plus tips, 2x tips at $50 each = $350

SS is buttraping expensive, aluminized steel will last long enough and is cheap...its your call

mine is aluminized and i like it
