Guy,
I have 01 ford escape v6. The sunroof is stuck (not bcos of cold, dirt etc) almost as half way open. WHen i press the button to close I hear the motor tries to roll it but it does not move. any idea?

There might be something caught in the track. I had a similar problem, but I think mine went back in when it hit the obstruction. If yours is not going back in, then you might have another issue. You're going to have to remove the headliner to figure it out if cleaning the track won't help.
