After mindlessly browsing the web, I ran across 'engine torque dampers' and it reminded me of a couple people on here that had them installed on their engines a few years back.

Not that I'm going to get one, I'm just curious to know what people here know about these dampers. Almost sounds like it does the work of poly-engine mounts.

Actually, after looking up some youtube clips, torque dampers look gimmicky. Unless the damper is placed in line with the way the engine moves upon acceleration, you might as well just slap on a steel bar between the engine and the chassis.
