hey, this is my first post on this forum. been lurking for a few days and most of you have some very nice rides. i got a 07 zx3 for under 10k in sept 07 after my 99 contour was in an accident. i know almost nothing about cars, but i want to. i was just wondering if it was possible to swap the engine from my 99 contour se into my focus, how difficult would it be (if possible), and how much would it cost to have it done (yet again, if it is possible). i would like to have a v8 in my car, but a v6 will do just fine for now.

Do quick search. You should find someone on here that is involved with a contour swap and you should find a couple V8 swap threads. But you better have deep pockets for that.

i found a thread on a contour svt swap, but like i said, i dont know much about cars and i figured theres probably a difference.
