I finally got down to Massive to go work on the engine tonight. We now have everything in the short block (minus the oil pan) and need to get the cams into the head. Just going with the factory cams for now until we get everything else sorted out.

Maybe after tomorrow night we will have a full rotating assembly [thumb]

And of course I went with old school Ford blue engine paint [:)]

hell yeah man...i'm really lookin forward to seeing what numbers you put out...have any idea when it'll all be together, tuned and drivin around?

What kind of compression are you running on this engine? Are you still going to be spraying, and if so, how much?

Well the head is docked 1 point, so with stock pistons it is 10.6-1. Those are Focus Central Probe 8.2-1 pistons so I will be at around 9.2-1 with a stock sized .27 head gasket.

Spray, which won't be sprayed until the car is tuned completely, will be no more than 100 shot.

Just for one more opinion. I really dig the Ford blue as well.
