Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone here can help me. I have a 2002 Ford Focus SE and it has started having some odd electrical problems. The issues that I have are the: instrument panel, brake lights, turn signals, power locks, windshield wipers and radio all stop working intermittently when turning on head lights or pressing on brake pedal or it just does that randomly when driving.
I occasionally hear a clicking sound coming from behind the dashboard as though the instrument panel is trying to come back on. The intermittent wiper, the heater fan, headlights and backup lights all work fine and the car seems to have plenty of power when driving.
I have inspected the battery and alternator connections and everything seems to be connected and tight. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix?
Thanks

Pull the rubber covering back on the harness between the body and the rear hatch. Examine the wires inside for damage.
