Can I just unplug the wiring from the EGR solenoid instead of removing the vaccum tube. Also a picture showing the exact location would be great.

don't need to remove anything, just plug the hose off from the dpfe...why not just replace the simple part?

most likely, unless he has a ton of miles and could have carbon build up...but 10 times outta 10 so far, its the dpfe

sounds right.... mine is bad too and it sucks pretty bad!

Whats the best way to test and see if thats the problem??? If I unplug the solenoid and it drives well then replace the dpfe!!!

Where is the sonsor and how do I replace it ??

do you have a cel?...run a quick search on dpfe, two weeks or go i explained it. this comes up alot.

CEL came on today [:(] ho hum. Car running a lot better. Any Ideas on a goot CAI - I need one that wont be in the wheel arch as there is a lot of snow !!!
