So I wanted opinions on the best short ram intake between these, and if the filter will be okay to use. Thanks for the help, you guys are great! [headbang]

wanting to put it on... but not willing to buy a new air filter...

I have an AEM sri with a KN filter... It's great.

het the ebay short ram or the svt intake but if you go with ebay put a k&n or aem filter and get heat shield and remove the weather stripping or you will have heat soak problems

They are all about the same. No ebay intake is really 'better' than another one.

I did the Ebay but I had to modify and piece parts together.

Ebay pipe and hardware
Spectre hose coupler
Spectre 10in cone filter
BOMZ 3in to 3.5 elbow <- was hard to find

out of that list, this one should get the job done.

K&N is expensive, you would be spending a lot of money on a filter element that you could get from someone else a lot cheaper.

I lied about th K&N, sorry, this one above would be better. I forgot, you need to find your O.D. of the MAF and then take some measurements of the area where the filter will be going to prevent any rub issues. Just measure it up and then look through the list. You are on the right track, good luck

It's fricken huge. It's on the end of a Volant tube. Some mod to the engine bay is required but nothing major. I'll try to find a pic.

I also have a NACA duct above the filter for fresh air to get in. I still haven't taken a photo of it yet. Maybe I'll do that over lunch.
