I already have tach, looking for a 2nd gauge that is easy to install and actually has some purpose. I basically need to fill 2nd hole in dual gauge pod...

Is volt gauge easy to hook up? Just connect to 12V source and that is it?
any input will be greatly appreciated!

Go with an oil pressure guage. Seen that its pretty easy to install. Or a water temp gauge.

volt is probably the easiest, yes just hook to any 12v source but the battery would be the most accurate

yeah a volt gauge would be the easiest, all the connections could be made right under the dash.
