F2 is proud to offer the most affordable solution for your Duratec powered Focus. We manufacturer almost all of the kit in house and we offer a very nice clean and easy install. This kit has an OEM look but offers more than OEM power. With the support of DB performance we offer a wide range of tuning options, we can support local customers as well as the customers that are far away. We have tested the kit in our cars for over 2 years and we have come up with the best turbo system for your focus. This kit is the Stage 2 kit and it comes inter cooled, 10psi to 11psi. We have tested it and we recommend not going using any higher boost level on a stock motor. This kit works on either a 5-speed or auto transmission. The kit comes with a Lifetime Warranty on our Manifold, Air Filter, SCT Flasher and all other parts come with a one year warranty. Warranties will start after submission of paperwork supplied and Data Logs to DB Performance.

-------------FSWerks Kit -F2’s Kit ---------------
2300rpms - 63whp 135wtq --- 50whp 125wtq
2800rpms - 90whp 170wtq --- 78whp 145wtq
3300rpms - 125whp 195wtq - 110whp 165wtq
3800rpms - 140whp 195wtq - 130whp 180wtq
4300rpms - 155whp 185wtq - 165whp 191wtq
4800rpms - 173whp 186wtq - 170whp 185wtq
5300rpms - 184whp 184wtq - 182whp 182wtq
5800rpms - 188whp 170wtq - 175whp 157wtq
6300rpms - 190whp 160wtq --162whp 130wtq
6800rpms - 195whp 150wtq --160whp 125wtq

------------ADVANTAGE--------------
2300rpms - FS +13whp +10wtq
2800rpms - FS +12whp +25wtq
3300rpms - FS +15whp +30wtq
3800rpms - FS +10whp +15wtq
4300rpms - F2 +10whp +6wtq
4800rpms - FS +3whp +1wtq
5300rpms - FS +2whp +2wtq
5800rpms - FS +13whp +13wtq
6300rpms - FS+28whp +30wtq
6800rpms - FS +35whp +25wtq

Based on the graphs the peak numbers for both kits are close with FSWerks kit having 10 more whp and 5 more wtq, but the F2 kit takes longer to build to the power and falls off much faster than the FSWerks kit. Also, the A/F on the F2 kit runs a little more lean than the FSWerks kit. Even though FSWerks' A/F numbers aren't listed on this graph, they go from around 12 down to 11-11.5 over the whole rpm range while F2's remain at about 12 til 7k rpms.

-Again remember that the F2 kit has a larger throttle body installed and the FSWerks kit has a 2.5" exhaust compared to 2.25" for the F2.

-If anyone feels there is more I should add, please PM me and I will add it on here.

I think I'd still go with FS just because it can be upgraded to the stage 2 for more power. Til F2 comes out with a stage 2 anyway.

Both vehicles in the graphs have a 2.0L Duratec Manual Transmission 2.25” exhaust

However F2’s kit IS intercooled 8psi and has a larger throttle body, Focusssports kit IS NOT intercooled 8psi and has the stock throttle body- it is the Stage 1 (the only graph at 8psi available for a 2.0)
this is incorrect info. the FSW kit is intercooled at 8psi and has a 2.5" exhaust. the mods are on the dynograph.

In comparing the two, I think FS provides better customer support. Thus, their product is superior regardless of all other factors (in my biased opinion). Nice comparison thread.

Personaly I've had awsome customer support from F2. In fact since they have to source out there tuning, F2 has put alot of there own money into tuning my car to figure out the problem that I had. I've had the car back since atleast since January and no problems since. Also i'm getting the revised piping for the turbo kit. F2 redid there piping so people who want to run the FSwerks lower stress bar can. I think thats awsome that they'll change stuff to make there product work with other companies parts.

That is pretty awesome if you view it that way. Ricardo must have gone a long way to help you, and I will admit he is always willing to help a customer any way he can.

My viewpoint is that FS doesn't need to change their product or fix problems that occur after install/tune. As a production unit, the FS kit is superior...at least from a business standpoint.

As far as driveability, I have no idea. I have never driven a boosted focus.

Cant wait to see where this goes. I think you may have opened a can of worms with this one Streetracer. HA! Great information however, I was getting tired of trying to compare two different browser windows to see which one I would be interested in.

Didn't mean that you would get into trouble. I just ment that this is going to be a good thread to watch the owners of two different products battle it out. Which will be a good thing. It will be some time before I can afford to do this mod so as much pro and con information I can collect will be great. Again, GREAT Post. Thanks.
