Hey guys i am still working on my focus (as you may guess) lol. And i am getting ready to get a parts car. Now i want to know what is better the duratec or the zetec. This is my daily drover but i want speed and i want it to handle good. I will be running to the track every once in a while.

I deleted your duplicate thread.

You only need one thread for one question.

If you plan on replacing your Zetec with a Duratec, you have to swap the all of the wiring harness and the gas tank. It's been done but, it's a lot of work.

I have an spi right now, not a zetec. Is it the same deal either way.

Zetec is far more cost effective in my opinion. Zetec has great aftermarket support and great potential.
Many people start big involving swaps, few finish them. I'd get a WHOLE Zetec parts car and go from there.
I'll be doing a full SVT swap but I have a lot of experience and even I'm cringing lol.
Hope that helps.
