The driver side air vent is not working in my 2003 Focus. I took off the panel below the steering wheel and saw the tube that links the vent to the centre console was dislodged so I realigned it. It worked until I changed the selector to the windscreen demister and back again. I tried securing it with tape and it lasted for about a week before it came loose again.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can secure it, or how it was originally secured and how I can fix it.
I have taken it to my local Ford garage and they just do what I do, realign it.
I would be very greatful for any suggestions.
BTW, I am a computer technician and know virtually nothing about cars! So be gentle!
