Does anyone have any info. on the Bell Turbo kit?

Does anyone have any info. on the bell turbo kit? Is it out yet? Is it C.A.R.B. legal? I'm really interested in this kit all of a sudden and am curious to find out information on it.

since when is any turbo CARB legal?

I don't think one is but I heard the bell one was trying to make it legal but I don't know if it ever happened.

Not CARB legal, but exemption pending. If any turbo was to be CARB legal, I would think this would be, since it mounts after the cat.

Yeah that's what I mean, but Bell Engineering I think has made the same exact kit with a T28 instead. They both mount in the same exact spots and everything but just have a bigger turbo. Apparently, they now make the aerodyne turbo now as aerocharger doesn't seem to make them anymore.

talk to HRW he has talked to corky about the t28 retrofit...i'm not all for his kit though

Corky didn't give up any particulars. He just said he has the retrofit available. He does not produce or repair the aerodyne turbo. The BEGI kit is modeled after the Aerocharger, but uses larger piping and the T-28.

I have yet to hear of anyone running the BEGI kit. If you are interested in an AC3, let me know.
