if you disconnect your battery would you lose your ecu tune sorry for the noobie question.

Nope.


but see, it doesn't lose it because it is stored as a code within the ECU, which I guess has it's own little system or something.

its kind of like a usb flash drive. Except its a lot easier to corrupt it...

uh oh...... so now you tell me I can't store music on my ECU. No wonder my car got such bad mileage. I just figured that Ford's tune wasn't that great, so I spiced it up with some Salsa.... [hihi]

.... and so apparently I found out Apple had misled me to believe iTunes was a car tuning program as well. Damn them. [hihi]

Which I just did.....my ECU is blank now and I am unable to load the Tune, or the Original backup..
