Okay so I like driving around with my fog lights on at night too because of the extra visability and I've noticed that my fogs won't always turn on when I pull the knob out. I'll pull it out and they'll stay off. Are they on a darkness sensor or is there a problem? FYI I just replaced the bulbs not more than 2 months ago too. Thanks

I doubt they run on a photocell (darkness sensor) because even if they did. the headlights would also be be on the same sensor.

I would probably suspect either the fuse or relay for your fogs is going bad, and would check there first, IF they aren't bad (I would replace them anyway, very cheap) then there is a chance your switch is going bad or has a faulty connection.
