As stated above - Do i have the PCV problem?

Bought my Focus ST one month ago and i didnt know anything about any FORD at all.. Didnt search before buying because i was made a deal i couldnt say no to..

Now im reading about things on the different forums there are out there and i think i maybe have a PCV problem with my ST.. I found this Video on youtube...

Can anyone please confirm if i have a problem or not.. Mine doesnt make that sound like the other video has.. But my dip stick and oil cap makes that "shhhh" Sound when opening..

Would really appreciate if anyone could help me.. [thumb]

Cool! I did not know about that symptom. Yes! Definitely sounds like too much crank case vacuum and PCV loop should be blocked somewhere. North American models often develop a cracked or collapsed PCV hose. Yours might be collapsed AND you may have a PCV that is stuck.

If you make another video, please scan the camera around the engine slowly and share here. Kinda curious about the layout of your engine.

Edit: No, I can not confirm you have a problem. You need someone else more experienced than me for that.

What do you want to see?
Don't mind me. I just never had my face or hands on that type of engine before. I have a Duratec, but mine and yours have some key differences. If I truly want to know and see more, I should do my own research.

Don't forget to check the health of the hoses & connections of the valve cover breather hose; you should have that on your engine right?

Picture proves an engine & model never sold in North America, so most of us are little help...
