i want to brighten up the drab grey interior without spending a fortune on new seats or a professional retrim. im thinking of doing a partial retrim with some nice red fabric to match my exterior paint. i will cover part of the door panels but the part i need help with is the seats.

i want to replace the patterned bit that you sit and lean back on with the previously mentioned fabric. i would like to know if the seat trim can be removed without cutting it up (sort of like a seat cover) and if so how? if people have experience could you please do like a "how to"? otherwise any help would be great.
