My company provided me with a base model S. I have NO buttons or functions that allow me access to the on/off function for traction control. I cannot get up driveway or across certain intersections in winter. The car just stops when wheels start to spin. Yes it's a free car but it's also the most dangerous thing I've ever driven in a Michigan Winter!

I like the ABS but the t/c has got to go! Is there a wire or fuse that's specific to t/c only? Owners manual refers me to functions and buttons that I don't have.

Moved to the MkIII section.

'12 "S" model is a PITA in this regard AFAIK, haven't seen recent comments on this so I don't know if ANYONE has found a work around yet.

Disabling ABS/TCS is the only possibility to avoid the problem I think (from older threads/comments).

We'll see if anyone has more recent info. here.

Luck & Welcome to FF
