LSD just allows more traction. two wheels gripping is better them one.

I love my Torsen LSD, I do have a pretty stock motor with some boltons, and I pretty much never had traction issues even in wet conditions or winter (with snow tires). On the road race track it feels also very solid with close to no under steer, plus you can get on the power earlier out of corners. When lunching from lights I almost never have wheel spin and can drop the clutch at around 4000 rpm for the perfect lunch. Overall I recommend this mod, although you wont feel the advantages as much if you are not going FI.

It limits the inside wheel spin when the outside wheel is loaded, typically on corner exit. Straight line does nothing for stock car.
