i was wondering what are the top brands for max hp when it comes
to air intakes.which ones produce the most?also which ones out of
those cost the less.b/c im in the navy and cant really afford to spend
stupid amounts into my car without resonable info first.also,what can
i put in my car that will help it pik up faster when im goin 50 mph and
faster?

everyone on here likes the volant air intake. ive got the focus central which is basically exactly like the volant for cheaper. as for a little more pickup, a focus central throttle body would be a good idea. immediate throttle response.

my fav is the volant. the fc is a similar design but is dependent on one source of air, through the snorkel. the volant has 2 runners for air.

the only other intake id have on mine besides the volant would be an aem long tube... but u can suck in water with those and the filter is hard to keep clean, if go with the long tube get this for sure... http://www.myfordperformance.com/cg...070077032.2751/page=product.html/product=3196

if u dont feel like spending upwards of 200 for an intake just get a mac short ram.

they all give the same gains just it's about consistant gains. I dunno i've never had anything but the Volant so i can't compare
