Is there a way to find out if my SVT came with HIDs from the factory? What about other options is there a way to tell what options it came with from the factory with the VIN?

The easiest wat to check, assuming that it doesn't currently have the HID housings in, is to see if the wires leading into the headlights have been spliced.

i think only the machs came with hid's. So if you have chrome housing projectors then they are probably machs and they have hid's.

I know the Eap svt focus comes with Machs which are projector headlights with HIDS.

my 2003 has stock hids too as well as the winter package that has a block heater

Mine do look like that but there is a place for a relay in the fuse box under the hood (R14) that according to the owners manual is for HID Headlights (SVT only) The relay is missing and there are no contacts for a relay.
