I painted the hatch strip and got rid of the rear wiper. I don't need the wiper, I never use it. The last hatchback car I had didn't have a wiper and I got used to it.

This was right before I took the wiper off:

I have a new 3rd brake light on the way, I might paint it white and leave just the LED strip. I haven't decided yet.

Looks very clean, I like it. I see you painted the rear lock surround, too. Is that still the rubber one, or is it a metal piece? If it's rubber, what'd you use to paint it?

That looks awsome man. Nice job on the hatch strip. Colormatched looks so much cleaner.
Put some rain-x on the window and it'll help the window stay clear in the rain.

The keyhole surround is the stock rubber piece. I used touch up paint to paint it and then I clear coated it.

I did a rear wiper delete on the wagon and stuck a chrome knob on the shaft, just temporary until I find something better. I don't really want to pull the works out 'cuz by winter I may decide I want the wiper back on.

it looks great. i colormatched my hatch strip also and it makes a huge difference.
what did you use to plug the wiper hole?

I got a 5/8's inch hole plug from Lowe's. Then I used some silicone to waterproof it. It was in the area with all the bolts and screws.
