Ok so I took it upon the liberty to create a sync thread for owners of sync. Please post Comments, Issues or Tips for any other sync owner here.

I advise everyone put their sync language to french... tho it will only really work if you don't know the language.

Listening to Sync lady talk french cracks me up.

sounds about right, sprint phones suck with aftermarket products...

yea, they wont even let you bluetooth ringtones or anything between phones, im gonna switch providers when my contract is up in a few months.

It is capable but sprint locks it so you cant....they say so people cant get your info from your phone...its beat.

I cant even download updates for my sync...blows but i stll love it

really? i just went to syncmyride.com and downloaded the updates to a usb flash drive and updated it that way.

I log on and it still says that I need to go to a dealer to install the latest update, all I can say is F*&^ that! Hopefully they will sort out their installer problems soon so we can install it ourselves. I'm not really sure what enhancements there are, my phone works great and I use a USB hard drive for my music so most of the upgrade is useless to me, one thing they have done so I'm told is make the song title and artist scroll when they are too long to fit on the display, That's worth spending 20 minutes on upgrading but not 500+ dollars to get a dealer to do it. Oh well have to play the waiting game I guess.

Yea they never download, i tried once and the download got messed up and now it wont download anymore, it says i already downloaded it, I called sync but they cant do shizit...im like wtf lol

Dont know if this is the right place or not

I have just purchased an '08 ford focus sedan to replace my firebird. That being said, I did not realize all the wonderful thing sync would do, until my fiance informed me. Is there any option for purchasing aftermarket or oem kit and having it installed to get sync? I dont have the usb port or any steering wheel controls, but I would like to. I couldn't find any info on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.[wave]
