Hi everyone I recently bought a 2010 Ford Focus and what had significant problems with it going into limp mode and the "wrench" light and check engine light going on. When I have taken it to the dealership they have more or less told me there was nothing they could do if the light doesn't go on. I have read on several threads here about similar problems where the resolution was found through the mechanic calling Ford engineering and being directed to technical service bulletins and the like. In your experienced with this what does it take to get the dealership to take it to the next level and go beyond, "if it doesn't give a code there is nothing we can do"?

Hit up the Ford Customer Service profile and get her to make them start moving. She seems to get the ball rolling for a lot of folks.
