I would like to install a dash out of a stick car into my automatic car. Is it just a plug and play, or are there wirring problems?

All of the aftermarket accessories are for the dash with a tach. It would also be nice to see when the factoy trans was shifting.

i also found this to a be a problem. all reverse and indiglo gauges have the tach in them.

1) is it an easy switch to make?
2) has anyone ever seen indiglo or reverse glo gauges without the tach??
I've looked everywhere i can think of, and they all show gauges with tach.

A gauge cluster swap for any Focus with an SPI or Zetec is just a plug-and-play kind of thing. However, since you have a 2003 and it's possible that you have the PZEV engine, you will not be able to swap clusters unless you find a cluster with a tach from another car that had the PZEV engine. The Zetec and PZEV clusters are not interchangeable. The two cars use completely different computers.
