I need help in replacing my cv boot since their was a small rip on it. would it be better to do it myself or just go to a shop and have them replace it for me? I look in the internet to find how much would a boot cost me, with special tools, around $35. what do you guys think

It depends.

1. Do you have a place to do it
2. Do you feel comfortable with your mechanical skills to do it.

If you can't say yes to both of these ^^^ Pay someone to do it.
