Ok I have a 2004 Ford Focus Saleen with a 2.3 and an mtx75 tranny. I was replacing wheel bearings and cv axles along with rotors and pads while I was there.
I got the cv axles out and put everything back in like I should. Clicked in the axles, put on the knuckle and brakes, topped off the tranny, and went for a test drive. After about a mile of normal roads and taking it easy my transmission is no longer sending power to the wheels, my cv axles don't spin and when my clutch is let out in any gear OR in neutral you can hear a weird sort of grinding noise. I don't know what it is or what would cause it. Please help me.

Most likely is driver's side CV is NOT "clicked in" at this point, not the first one...

DON'T try to drive it more, you'll just damage the ends of the splines.

No, you're going to need to pull it, check for damage & condition of clip, file end splines smooth so it'll go in where damaged, then install BEFORE setting it back into the knuckle.
