From another site :

Thank you for your enquiry about the Duratec Cylinder Head that
Cosworth is developing as a performance after-market part. For your
information, this head is going to be part of a performance upgrade kit of parts
that Cosworth is developing. The kit will include the head, 'Power By
Cosworth' inlet manifold, inlet/exhaust cams, larger valves, valve
springs, forged piston and connecting rods as well as a recalibration of
the existing ECU. Whilst the kit is still very much in development, we
aim to achieve 100bhp increase over the standard engine without
resorting to forced induction and the increased weight of a turbo/supercharger.

The kit of parts is still being developed and as such is not currently
available. We aim to launch the upgrade kit (in conjunction with Ford)
at the International Auto Salon (2-4 April 2004, Los Angeles Convention
Centre) at which point we will be taking orders through Cosworth Racing
Inc at the following address:

Cosworth Racing Inc.
3031 Fujita St
Torrance
CA 90505

Tel 310 534 1390

In the meantime you will be able to see some of the development parts
on show on Cosworth's stand at the Performance Racing Industry Show next
month. Alternatively, please keep your eye on our website, for further
details as they become available.

I thought the 2.3 is a duratec? About it being streetable with new connecting rods & pistons I'd beleive it. If Honda can bring their K20 (2.0 l) straight from the factory with 220 hp witout any aftermarket products Cosworth should be able to squeeze 240 hp from a 2.3 L. Either way i can just wait untill April to see what comes out.

Streetable isn't about rods and pistons its about making power in a usable rpm range and not sounding like a race car in traffic.

The 2.3 is a duratec and the duratec engines have made phenomenal power in testing.
