just got a question about the cosworth Exhaust found on Focussport.com, the 339$ one, i noticed the tip is 2.25", and i understand that unless you've got some serious work done to your engine, anything bigger than 2" will end up dropping your back pressure too much
ending up in a loss of performance, should i bother with it, or look for something else?

Backpressure will not cause a loss in performance. Free flowing exhausts generate the most hp/tq.

I'd say get the Cosworth everything. I'd probably trust them more than any other company when it comes to small liter Ford performance.

you heard wrong its not that it hurts performance it is that unless you are FI it is pointless to go higher than 2-2.25. i am waiting for my 100k warrenty to run out but when it does i am installing everyting that i have bought for it. current mileage of 87K parts bought- cosworth d-power stage 1&2, cosworth race exaust, Apexi electronic exaust valve, cosworth flywheel.
