Hello,
Im new to this forum and I hace issue with ventilators would not starting up at all and im concerned that i dont destroy engine prematurely.
In short i've checked ac clutch with seperate dc charger and i hear click.
Tested with multimeter heater resistor coil on cooler but it has 0.1 ohm (not sure if meter can read 100% correct, on plastic its imprinted 0.45 ohm resistance value.(its fixed connection no meltdowns)
Checked relays , they are good since Ive unplugged the main sensor on block between cylinder number 2 and 3 and they kicked in in high speed.
I assume that i need to chance cylinder sensor and water temp sensor cause it never initiated fans on low speed.
Other thing is alternator issue, more likely wiring harness to fuse box but I could not find post again on google.
Also the GEM unit i have should do the central locking by turning drivers side key unlock and lock to unlock all doors but sometimes it locks drivers door without touching leaving my key stuck inside (yes i had reserve).
I would add trunk button , but I assume you would need new GEM unit with support for it since it needs to be coded.
To add: never overheated or the temp gauge moved to red.
Its Focus mk1 2003 with ac no other stuff.
