I want to order these from Crutchfield...

my only concern is would these be a PITA to install and require a ton of modification or? They come with adapters for the Focus so that the speakers will fit. Anyone have any experience with component speakers?

if the adapter plate holds the mid and the tweeter in the 6x8 hole then the only the challenge will be wiring and hiding the crossover. if the plate only holds the mid then you have to custom mount the tweeter somewhere.
