Thinking about it but what happens if you're out in heavy rain and the filter gets soaked. How do you prevent water being sucked in to the engine? Anyone have one on their cars?

Just make sure you don't drive into a river/puddle that will completely submerge the filter and you should be ok. I.E. don't route your excessively long and not much colder air intake and filter below your bumper! []

A pre-filter can help as well.
