ok 2 weeks ago i was pulling out of my driveway which is on a slight hill and i herd a noise, i payed no attention, and now every time there is a load on the car (slight hill) i get a noise that sounds like truck brakes or something. i only have 4500 miles on this Clutch masters stage 3. it feels fine no slipping or anything. is this something i should be worried about, or am i ok but stuck with a noisy clutch that makes my car sound like shit.

any input will be appreciated.

i know for sure its the clutch. at first i though it was my belt squealing but its different sound than a belt squeal and it only does it in first gear at a hill or with a load. i may end up calling clutch masters, may be they can tell me what it could be.

i never knew a clutch could make noise even a when you see and smell one burning you dont hear noise.

well i decided to call CM any way... they told me its unusual for a clutch to make noise in only 1st and reverse, if its the clutch it should do it it in all gears, and he said i should go to a trans shop and see what they say. if it winds up being the clutch, CM will work with me to make it right.

so looks like ill go get it checked out.

it is a aluminum flywheel, and i do get the typical chatter with the car in neutral at an ideal.
this is a totally different sound.

i also tried starting out in 2nd just to make sure 1st wasn't the problem, but it did in 2nd also.
