So I had my "mechanic" friend replace my clutch for me, he said he could do it pretty quickly in his garage. So 5 days later and I still haven't gotten my car back.

He says its all put back together now, but the transmission will not change gears when the pedal is fully depressed. He says that it will change gears when it is 3/4 of the way pushed in, but not fully. When the pedal is fully pushed in he says that it feels like its starting to re-engage.

Did he put the disc in backwards? Has anyone else had this issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Sounds like to me the disc is in backwards and when he goes all the way the fingers are hitting the spring perches and putting psi on the disc

Not the first, seen the scenario Tom mentions once or twice here.
