I have an 03 SVTF, with 55000 miles on it.

Recently, I have been having a hard time getting my car into 1st or reverse.

When i get it in 1st the car wants to roll forward, even with the clutch pedal completely on the floor.

It seems to do this worse when it is cold outside. Once the car warms up, (after 4 or 5 miles) things improve slightly, but I fear things are only going to get worse with winter.

Anyone else experienced this. It's the original clutch as far as I know, it had 25000 miles when I bought it.

Both are classic signs of a worn out throwout bearing.
It will get worse till the engine will die at every stoplight, because the clutch won't disengage.

You might try bleeding the system, which may or may not help for a while.
I'd also start saving up for a replacement.

well since on the svt we need a new flywheel along with a clutch, a LUK replacement would run you around $550 and a Clutchmasters or Spec kit would be $800+. Then you have to figure in 6-8 hours of labor so your looking at $1200+. I just had mine done and it ran me $1400+250 for new shifter cables. good luck

they sell the luk repset for $495 shipped. kit comes with new non tsb clutch, dual mass flywheel, slave cyl, throwout bearing, and pressure plate along with an alignment tool. mine was on the portch in 2 days. great place to do business i highly reccommend them. ive been on my new clutch for about 15,000 miles and no probs. still pulls wonderfully.
