Does not click when I turn. If I make a hard turn one or two clunks. I can make it happen by swurving the car left and right. Also when driving down the road it sounds like my car has big 4x4 knobby tires. Sounds like tire noise ..... but it cant be...... can it?

Check your swaybar endlinks.

My mother-in-law just had the same issue and had her's repaired for about $140 bucks at Sears. That's not too bad of a price for a new set of sways (front and rear) + new endlinks.

Did it cause a "humming/whining" noise driving down the road....like tire noise?

No just a clunking over hard bumps.

You might want to check and see what your tire pressure is sitting equal all the way around or just a few psi lower in the rear tires.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Figure I should give some feed back and make this thread useful. I changed the rim and tire combo...that fixed the road noise problem. I replaced the Passenger side sway bar end link and that fixed the clunk noise. Thanks for the help. It was an easy fix. Just a 15mm box wrench and some vice grips to hold the back to keep it from spinning. Took about 25 minutes.

Just wanted to post the fix. When others do a search and come across it, they get a solution not a bunch of questions. Thanks again for the help.
