I know normally chrome can't be painted, but since it is really just plastic does anyone know if the chrome grill can be painted I hate all that chrome on my front end.

yeah you should. as long as you sand it down first.

Or if you get Plastidip spray you can just straight up clean it and spray a few layers on it

(easier and removable)

I painted mine.

sand -> clean -> prime -> paint -> clear
if my rattle can paint doesn't stand up over the winter, I'm going to clean -> Plastidip

I might just try on a random pipe or piece of metal

The plastidip comes out as a satin black I think I am just going to leave it that.

Ended up looking pretty good with the plastidip. Plus really easy to use. I'll post pictures as soon as I get to my computer.
