Okay im new at this and I have read many diffrent articles about the chips... i was wondering where is the best place to get a chip and what can i expect of it. any info would be appreciated
Well, Duratecs actually can't be chipped. There's no slot for one on the ECU or whatever the other cars have that let them use one.
You can however, tune/program the chip with something like the XCal-2 from SCT. Does essentially the same things chips can do, but there's not a physical chip, instead you "flash" the ECU. Think more like software upgrade versus hardware, in computery terms.
