hey i know that a few of you guys are pros in the install area so i need your help. my wife drives a 2005 equniox and it says that it is MP3 compatable, but there is no plug in the face of the unit. is it in the rear of the unit? and if it is how do you pull out the unit to get acces to the back?

Yeah thats all it means. You can probly buy and adaptor for and mp3 player. My mom did that with her Ford Escape. Hers is an 05. So I'm sure there should be something out there.

im sure that gm makes an interface kit for it, to give it an aux in

assuming it has either an aux or satalite radio button on the radio

Axxess - AIP-GMO1-ID

This interface is possibly what you need to add a aux/ipod connection into your Veh.

They make intergrations for factory radios to add in Ipods/mp3 players

They will allow you to play audio through the factory radio without the use of a FM mod, but most do not display the artist/playlist on the screen of the factory headunit
