Havnt posted here in awhile because the focus has been running awesome. Till tonight, took a weak speed bump at like 15 and yeah....

the driver said it was the upper ball joint, if hes right how much should i be lookn at for repairs, im gonna need alignment and a new tire also.

Well, that definitely doesn't look like a speed bump damage and even less at 15 mph. I have beaten my car very badly and never had such damage. As far as repairs... well I don't know.[werd]

it was.. idk. 20 max. i did a few donuts and drove around for like 5 minutes after then this happens

hrmm Calls a dealer and books a service time

I was told about a year ago my lower passenger and inner tierods are dangerously close to separating but didn't feel like payin for the repairs... receintly there makin some weeeird grumbling noises and after seein that its goin in LOL

so....you hit a speedbump and the wheel went FORWARDS? or that happened AFTER you nailed a speedbump and kept driving around? you seem like you could care less.

umm no. i hit a road hump, the wheel went right into my front bumper and i skidded to a stop pretty much. i wouldnt try to drive it.


And the tow truck driver ripped my axle out this morning [headbang]

Something similar happened to my Mom's Honda Accord when I was a teen. Except we were just going around a corner and it just collapsed. It ended up being pretty cheap/easy to fix.

We dont have upper ball joints....


To me, it looks like you will need:

lower control arm/balljoint assembly
inner tie rod
possibly steering rack
strut
possibly spring
possibly need to reshape your strut tower or your suspension geometry will be wrong
might possibly need a new knuckle if it is cracked

probly a few things i missed.
